Learn more about our artisanal foie gras

Our artisanal foie gras is produced in the heart of the Gers region, in the local terroir and valleys, with a spirit of simplicity and high standards.

Our foie gras duck farmer is located 20 minutes from the cannery. Fed on yellow corn from the Gers region, we have chosen to work exclusively with him over the years to ensure consistent taste and appearance. At Sillon, we are committed to doing things right and, above all, ensuring that the end customer receives the same product year after year.

Preparing the product in a jar allows for long-term preservation of its quality while ensuring easy enjoyment, both at home and as a gift.

Tasting tips

  • Remove the foie gras from the refrigerator 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
  • Slice with a thin blade (ideally heated) for a clean cut.
  • Serve on lightly toasted bread, with chutney or sweet jam if desired.
